QUOTES AND DEALS

SOLAR SYSTEM UPGRADES

A solar upgrade with a clear purpose.

An ageing inverter, a new EV or changing energy use can all be reasons to review a system. Start by understanding what is already working.

Repair, extend or replace?

Ask a qualified installer to inspect the existing system and explain the options. A fault does not always mean the entire system needs replacing.

Compatibility comes first.

Record the existing equipment and check inverter capacity, panel compatibility, roof space and network limits. Adding a battery may involve extra electrical work.

Check the consequences.

Changes can affect connection arrangements, old tariffs and equipment warranties. Ask the retailer and network before making a change.

Three quotes is the goal.

Matching will open after partner checks are complete. We will explain local availability and ask before sharing your details.

Questions before your next step.

Should I repair my solar system or replace it?+

Have the existing system assessed first. Compare the fault, equipment condition, compatibility, remaining warranties and future energy needs. Request separate repair and upgrade scopes where practical, and confirm effects on your network connection and electricity arrangements before deciding.

Can I add a battery to my existing solar system?+

Often yes, but the installer must check your inverter, connection, electrical installation and proposed battery location. Ask whether the design keeps the existing inverter, adds separate battery equipment or replaces it, and whether metering, switchboard or approval work changes the price.

What if I do not know whether my supply is single or three phase?+

Choose Not Sure in the form and ask your installer to verify the supply. We also accept Single Phase, Three Phase and Two Phase when known. Do not open the switchboard or remove covers to investigate; the electrical assessment belongs with a qualified person.
