Buying solar or a home battery? A low headline price is only the beginning. Here are three checks to help you choose with confidence. Check the business you are signing with, the electrician’s licence, and the actual installer’s Solar Accreditation Australia credentials. Ask who takes responsibility if work is subcontracted. Compare exact equipment models, the full installed price, and any extra work. Ask how savings were calculated. A bigger battery is not automatically a better fit. Before signing, ask who handles faults, roof damage, labour and warranty claims. Keep your contract, certificates and commissioning records together. Rebate rules depend on your state and installation date. Check current government sources. A rebate is different from a loan, and virtual power plant contracts need their own review. Our solar assessment, quote review and provider-introduction service are free for homeowners. Participating providers commercially support the service through referral fees when customers proceed through us. We do not cover the whole market. You remain free to decline every proposal. Any optional inspection arrangement and applicable cost are agreed before booking.
Will installers contact me as soon as I submit?+
We contact you first, explain the proposed providers and ask permission before sharing your details. Submitting the assessment form does not automatically contact installers or book an installation.
Do you rank installers or choose one for me?+
No. We select suitable companies against our provider standards and your project requirements. We help you understand proposals, but there is no public leaderboard or obligation to choose any company.
Can you review a quote I already have?+
Our engineers review the information in your proposal: suitability, equipment, installation scope, warranties, documentation and savings assumptions. We identify questions and concerns so you can make your own decision. A document review does not replace a site inspection, final electrical design or network approval. Can I arrange an installation inspection?+
You can ask us to arrange an independent installation inspection. We agree the inspector, scope, availability and any applicable cost before booking. The report relates to the work inspected; it is not an insurance policy or a guarantee of future performance.

Yes. Our guides, rebate information, calculator and comparison worksheet are free to explore without registration. Take your time; ask for personal help when you are ready.
Does an assessment guarantee my savings or installation?+
No. Estimates depend on the stated design, usage, tariffs and conditions. Your installation contract, supplier obligations and applicable consumer rights remain important. Our review and support do not create an insurance policy or promise a repair payout.
