Who is responsible.
EXCELLO TECH SOLUTIONS PTY LTD trading as QUOTES AND DEALS (ABN 31 664 120 978) operates this website. Use the email on our contact page for privacy enquiries, access, corrections, withdrawal of consent or deletion requests.
What we collect.
If you submit the assessment form, we collect your contact details, property address, building and roof type, supply phase and project information. Optional fields cover bill amounts, electricity use, retailer, existing equipment, EV plans, major loads, goals and provider priorities. We record contact consent, its wording/version and the time received. You may upload one PDF, JPG or PNG quote with your assessment (up to 5 MB). The file is stored privately with your assessment and sent as an attachment to info@quotesanddeals.com.au for our team to review. It is not placed in the public media library; only authorised website administrators can download it from the assessment record. If you request a quote review by email, we also use the proposal and supporting information you choose to send. Please omit bank details, signatures and account identifiers that are not needed for review.
Why we use it.
We use your information to respond to your request, assess your requirements, review information you send and discuss suitable providers or aftercare. You may read the guides and use the worksheet without submitting a form.
Sharing with installers.
We do not automatically send form submissions to installers. Before a later introduction we will identify the intended providers and ask for permission to share for that purpose. We do not sell this registration to an unrestricted list of businesses.
Hosting and service providers.
This website is hosted with Digital Pacific. Registration details are stored in our hosting account’s MySQL database and are accessible only to authorised personnel and service providers needed to operate the service. Hosting logs may include technical connection information. The form uses a keyed hash of the connection IP address for short-lived abuse prevention, kept separately from project records. Hashes are used within a two-hour window and expired entries are removed when new submissions are processed. We do not promise that all processing or backups remain in Australia.
Retention and your choices.
Enquiry records are intended to be retained for up to 12 months after the last meaningful contact, unless a continuing service or legal obligation requires longer retention. Requests for access, correction or deletion are handled by contacting us; retention review is a manual operational process. We do not promise instantaneous deletion from backups.
Cookies and browser storage.
The form does not save your contact details in browser local storage. With your optional permission, we use Google Ads measurement to understand visits and successful assessment requests from our advertising. Google receives technical connection information, page addresses, advertising identifiers and a conversion event with an opaque reference. We do not send your form answers, contact details or uploaded quotes to Google Ads. Enhanced conversions and personalised advertising are not enabled by this plugin. Google may process this data outside Australia under its privacy policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). We store your measurement choice in this browser for 180 days and opaque submission markers to prevent duplicate counts. Choose Measurement preferences at the bottom of any page to change your choice. Declining does not affect the form or comparison tools.
With your optional measurement permission, Quotes and Deals also records visits on our own website: the advertising or referral source category, campaign identifier, device category, public pages viewed in sequence, time while a page is visible and active, scroll depth, enquiry form starts, validation and submission outcomes, and links selected. We use a random identifier stored for a browsing session; after 30 minutes of inactivity a new session begins. These records are available only to our website administrators and are automatically removed after 30 days. This measurement does not record your name, email, phone, address, form answers, keystrokes, uploaded files, full referring URLs or advertising click identifiers. We do not send this browsing history to Google. You can decline or withdraw optional measurement using Measurement preferences without affecting your enquiry. Administrator testing is separated from visitor reports. Measurement begins only after permission and cannot reconstruct earlier visits. The hosting platform may use necessary cookies. Fonts are requested from Google Fonts, and external links have their own privacy policies. The original educational video is served with this website.
Your quote-comparison worksheet.
The comparison tool keeps your entries only in the open page. It does not upload them to us or save them in browser storage. Refreshing or leaving clears the worksheet. If you print or save a PDF, that copy is under your control.
