QUOTES AND DEALS

HOME BATTERIES

A home battery that fits your life.

Store energy for later, explore backup options, and choose a battery that fits how your home actually uses electricity.

A battery sized for your life.

Look at evening usage, available solar, future loads and budget. Usable kWh and continuous kW tell you different things.

Backup needs a design.

Ask which circuits work in an outage, whether extra hardware is included and how the system behaves when the battery is empty.

Rebates are one part of the decision.

Explore federal support, state eligibility and VPP conditions. The largest subsidised battery is not automatically the best fit.

Three quotes is the goal.

Matching will open after partner checks are complete. We will explain local availability and ask before sharing your details.

Questions before your next step.

What size battery does my home need?+

Start with the electricity you use after sunset and the solar energy available to charge a battery. Ask for seasonal modelling, usable capacity, power output and backup reserve. A larger battery can be underused, so compare what each size will actually do for your household.

Can I add a battery to my existing solar system?+

Often yes, but the installer must check your inverter, connection, electrical installation and proposed battery location. Ask whether the design keeps the existing inverter, adds separate battery equipment or replaces it, and whether metering, switchboard or approval work changes the price.

Will solar and a battery keep my home running in a blackout?+

Only if the system is designed for backup operation. Ask which circuits are supported, what extra hardware is included, the power limits and whether solar can recharge the battery during an outage. Do not assume every battery provides whole-home backup.
