Who publishes this website?

EXCELLO TECH SOLUTIONS PTY LTD, trading as QUOTES AND DEALS, publishes and is responsible for this website. The business is based in Lane Cove, NSW. Our guides provide general information for Australian solar and battery buyers.

We are a consumer-information and planned introduction service. We do not present this content as a site inspection, electrical design, government eligibility decision or independent certification of an installer.

Where do the facts come from?

For rebates, we use the responsible government department or scheme administrator. For consumer rights, we refer to the ACCC and relevant public authorities. For installer accreditation, we refer to Solar Accreditation Australia. Links near an answer or at the end of a guide let you inspect the source.

Historical reports provide context. Their dates, company counts and commercial promises are not evidence about our own network or the current market. We identify illustrative calculations and separate an announced program from an open application pathway.

What does the date mean?

An updated date records a substantive content review or revision; it is not a live connection to a government database. Eligibility, funding, tariffs and provider terms can change between updates. Check the linked authority and obtain written confirmation before committing to a purchase.

Our maintenance approach is to review scheme announcements and reported errors, update the affected content and record the change. We do not advance dates simply to make unchanged articles appear new.

How do commercial relationships affect the site?

Our planned matching service will be funded through referral fees from participating installers. We disclose that model and do not describe it as a comparison of the entire market. We do not publish invented partner counts, customer reviews, performance results or professional endorsements.

Installer admission standards are published separately. A future partnership must not be presented as a completed check before evidence has been reviewed.

How are AI and illustrations used?

AI tools assist with research, drafting and website production. The website’s original explainer uses synthetic narration and illustrative imagery. Those images do not document real customers, staff or completed installations. Factual claims should be checked against their cited sources; generation alone is not evidence.

How can I report an error?

Email info@quotesanddeals.com.au with the page URL, the passage and a supporting source where possible. Please omit customer account numbers and identity documents. We will review the issue and correct or clarify the affected content where needed.
